International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers oral histories
Georgia State University Library, Special Collections Department holds over 70 oral history interviews with retirees, members, and leaders of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. Most of the interviews have been conducted by IAMAW Grand Lodge personel or Southern Labor Archives Staff. Many of the interviews have been transcribed.
Morton H. Shapiro papers
Morton H. Shapiro was a labor leader and civil rights activist who worked for the ILGWU and SEIU. The Morton H. Shapiro Collection, 1954-2007 consists of correspondence, autobiographical writings, printed material including newspaper clippings, invitations and programs, and an oral history.
Voices of Labor Oral History Project
The Voices of Labor Oral History Project consists of 49 oral history interviews. The interviews are with labor union members and cover their lives, upbringings, and work in the labor movement.
